Privacy Policy

Overview
MiniUtil is designed to keep tool inputs on your device whenever the selected tool can run entirely in the browser. This policy explains the exceptions and the limited services used to operate and measure the site.
Tool inputs and files
For browser-based converters, generators, calculators, and text tools, the values and files you provide are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to MiniUtil. Generated downloads are created on your device.
This includes CSV files imported into the Search Console Opportunity Analyzer and text entered in an embedded MiniUtil widget. Share buttons send the canonical tool address; they do not add tool input to the URL. A tool that offers an explicit result link states which non-sensitive values the link contains before it is copied.
Two tools necessarily make external network requests:
- IP Address Lookup requests public IP and approximate network data from ipapi.co. That provider receives the network information required to answer the request.
- Favicon Path Checker requests common icon paths from the website address you enter. The target website receives those requests and your browser's normal connection information.
Analytics
MiniUtil uses Plausible Analytics to measure aggregate page usage. Plausible is configured without analytics cookies or persistent cross-site identifiers. It records information such as the page, referrer, browser category, device category, and approximate country in aggregate. Tool inputs and uploaded file contents are not included in analytics events.
Local preferences
Your browser may store device-local preferences, such as the selected color theme. These preferences remain in your browser and can be removed through your browser settings.
Hosting and security logs
Like most websites, MiniUtil's hosting and network providers may process standard connection information, including IP address, request time, requested page, user agent, and security events, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Retention and handling depend on the hosting provider's operational policies.
Third-party links and downloads
MiniUtil may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Loading a resource from another website, including a favicon or supporting browser library, creates a direct request from your browser to that provider.
Children's privacy
MiniUtil is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.
Changes and contact
This policy may change when the site's tools or service providers change. Material updates will be reflected by the date above. Questions can be sent to privacy@miniutil.com.
